About Me...
What sets me apart from other programmers is my passion for art and creativity. I love exploring new ideas and experimenting with various approaches to development and game design, which I believe is essential to grow as a programmer. My background as an art student before I discovered computer science has given me a unique perspective on development, enabling me to approach projects from a more creative angle. During my undergraduate studies, I worked as a Research Assistant for the Computer Science Department, creating projects and mentoring university students, as we measured the success of teaching computer science through game development.
I am also a Computer Science instructor with a college prep company called Zinkerz, where I teach various programming classes to high school students. My goal as a professional is to complete my Master's degree and work in education in some capacity. I love teaching others and sharing my passion for computer science. However, I'd also love to work on my creative projects full-time and work for a small game development studio, where I can bring ideas to life and have a creative input in projects. With my passion for programming and game development, I believe I can make a significant contribution to the industry.
